Gabriel John & Company started as a conversation one summer
evening in 2009. After much experimenting, studying, dedication,
the first candles were poured in the Andersonville neighborhood
of Chicago, IL. Thus, the company was born. The goal was to
create a candle line that was both simple and luxurious while
capturing the Artisan touch. At first the candles were given out as
gifts to family and friends and as donation to charity events.
Gabriel started Gabriel John & Company with the desire to
create candles that aren’t only beautiful, but free of unnecessary
and harmful additives. Each candle is hand crafted from start to
finish in the artisanal tradition using only select quality ingredients
that are both kind to the environment and kind to our health.
Gabriel believes that green, eco friendly products and beautiful design go hand in hand.
